Kids workshop are they worth or just wastage of money

Recently I have gone through some hundreds of advertisement saying don't let your kid sit idle for whole of this month, let them explore the world at this small age only. These advertisement said we are going to find something entire different in their personalities.
So wht do u say are they worth,money which they are charging .

Comparision with money, i dont know. But as far as the workshops, summer camps are considered, i think they are good. Change from normal school life and a good atmosphere to be free to learn and help inculcate better qualities at the same time growing good habbits.
