today the one that is reasponsible for the jobs phoned me back and told me that i am over qualified for regular jobs
and the only jobs that i will get from them in the future is as a manager..
what do you think of that..is this a way of telling me you are not wanted here..or does it mean that they really want me for the manager jobs?????what do you think

ummm you must be one lucky man, liranlgo to be labeled as over qualified.. coz in my case here, I only use "am over qualified" when I don't get hired and that's to cover up my ill feelings for being dumped off...sour graping if I may call it..
but in your case, I assume they really meant it coz they wouldn't tell that to you if they just meant to kid you around... :P

Yes, almost 20 years ago when I was looking for a new job, I was constantly getting that comment, along with "you'd be bored doing this job." Hey! Not working and not earning any money is boring, too. I eventually got another job, but not before "dumbing down" my résumé. My oldest nephew had this problem, too, and again had to "dumb down" his résumé to get hired. The ironic thing is, I am now UNDER-qualified in the field I was once over-qualified for.

Yes, I was told this when I applied for a job at American Express's Financial Headquarters in England. They still took me on though, so I wasn't too bothered.
The trouble is, I'm a fully trained Secretary and the job I started on at Amex was just data input. I did progress to the German Market eventually where I could use my second language to converse with customers and the German office.
I think they're worried that they won't be paying you enough to do a job lower than that you're skilled for and would prefer to employ you in a capacity better suited to your abilities, but I got by at American Express. If you're willing to do the job they're offering, and you can do it well, I fail to see what their problem is with hiring you.
Brightest Blessings.

my problem is they want me as a manager of 25-30 people
and i want to be a simple customer care representative..
the reason is that i am starting to study a computer course..and i want to put my energy on my studies and not on the job this year..and they do not seem to get it..
