I live in Alabama very close to Florida. At the earlier part of the month we had a series of tornados pass through and I am sure alot of you heard about it since it made national news.Usually when a warning goes on Tv warning of a spotted tornado we ignore it b/c since living here for ten years we have never had an actual tornado hit our area.We watch and follow the hurricanes however. After the tornado in Enterprise which is very close opened my eyes and now I have an emergency suitcase packed and it stays in my truck. I was curious to know how has this last tornado or any tornado change the way you react to the warnings?

We have been in the Atlanta area for the past 3 years and have been under a number of tornado warnings during that time. It's still pretty new to us so we pay real close attention to them. Nothing has hit in our area in that time but it still makes me a little nervous.

I live in middle TN, and we must take weather warnings very seriously. My little home town has been spared the last couple of storm seasons but the surronding counties have been blasted. Just about everyone I know has a tornado plan, and practice it with their children. It's not an option here for us.
