Have you ever thought of your purpose in life?

It's weird coz we just keep on living life day in and day out, yet there comes a point when we stop and think, what are we doing these things for? Where is this all heading to? Are we just breezing through life, going where the wind takes us, or do we do the things we do keeping in mind the reason behind it, or the eventual future we want spring from the present? A peny for your thoughts...

I always ask myself this question: what am I here for? I think this question arises more often when I feel like I'm going through tough times and feeling down on myself. I like to think that my purpose in life is to provide compassion for animals (I'm working on becoming a vet tech) and to be a good mother as well. I really do believe that we are all here for a particular reason, we each have a purpose.

Your discussion is deep. It is hard to explain what is your purpose in life because you really don't know what is it, only God knows. Actually, there was a time that whenever I pray I keep asking God what is my purpose, why am I here. Then I thought that maybe He wanted me to be an instrument to help other people, to be an inspiration. I don't know if I am living like that person but I am trying.
