I have observed that the person who have more posts in his credit gets more response for his posts.Or so to say the person who is more experince to mylot gets more response. Is that true?Do you see the friends' posts more than strangers?Whats your criteria to respond a topic?

I don't take into account whether a person is new or not. I just take a look at the discussions and look for things that peak my interest. I respond to the ones I have something to say about. I'm guessing overall though people that have been on here longer get more responses because they are friends with more people, and friends respond to their friends discussions.

That was the point which I wanted to make.So you agree that experience matters. So one should make more friends then.It will also increase his popularity.

I've never made this observation before, but it does make sense. It is my assumption that the people with more experience on here get more responses because they are more aware of the types of discussions that the community enjoys and they also are more likely to have many friends on their list who come and respond to their threads. As for my own criteria for responding to a discussion, it has nothing to do with the number of posts they've made. I respond to anything that catches my eye and doesn't go against the guidelines.
