What do you think about chappel as a coach? Is he the best coach Indian cricket team had?I should say yes..His experimentations with the new players are really working lot for India..After he has become indian coach, many youngsters could play for India on the expense of many senior players...These youngsters has proved that they are an asset to the team and will be the key players in the futuire for India after the retirement of senior players like sachin.ganguly, dravid and kumble...So I rate chappel as the best we ever had...

Chappel is a decent coach, but I don't think he has been the best one for India at this moment. He might have been more successful had he been made coach immediately after the last world cup. But, given the small period, he has done too much experimenting. Having played cricket till the U-19 stages, I understand how difficult it is for a player to go into a match without knowing what is expected of him. So I guess that too much of experimentation has put the Indian team off a bit. But, after being dropped, the seniors have made a strong comeback. If he helps India win the World Cup he might have the last laugh. Cheers! Ram
