6 lol. that my first and i personal believe its which ever one you played first. for most people for me its 6. yet i have one friend who says 7 is his favorite but he played ff1 the original first. though 7 was the first one i got addicted too. honest i believe they are all equally awesome. but X and X-2 i didnt like at all because they changed up the lvling system.

youll probably need to look for final fantasy anthology. its ff 5 and 6 together. they were the old school final fantasy top view 2d. it wasnt til 7 they went 3d. but yes i highly recommend 6.

I think FF VII has the best storyline in FF history. FF VIII also good but kinda boring because too many movie.
I played from FF till FF XII but i didn't play FF XI because it's online and it doesn't available in my country.

I don't know, you should check your local online game provider. If your country's internet connection is good, then some local company might open a server in your country.

Hmmm... I think you're missing one great Final Fantasy game in the choices you've listed. Check out #2 on my list:
1. FF VII
2. FF Tactics
3. FF VIII
4. FF X
5. FF V
We already know why FF7 is on top of most people's lists, but don't forget Final Fantasy Tactics! It's the game that propelled the "tactics" genre (sorry, but face it: Tactics Ogre wasn't nearly as influential as FFT despite the fact that FFT was based on its TO's gameplay) to where it is today.

I always forget that one. Indeed FF Tactics is a good game, too bad square seems to forget about that game and not make any sequel. If you like FF Tactic then you should try Suikoden series.

The best Final fantasy for me is from a PS1 game, Final Fantasy 8. I love everything about it, the story, characters, guardian forces, limit breaks, and those other creatures that they meet on their journey. I also like the soundtrack and it's graphics, probably the best during it's time.
As you can see at my avatar, he's one of the characters there in final fantasy, the Tonberry King. And also my username, is one of the antagonists in that game, Raijin, is one of the loyal henchmen of Squalls rival, Seifer Almasy!;)

The only one I've completely finished is VII, but I've have to say that VIII is my favourite. I love the way the game play style is compared to others, and I love the characteristics of the characters that I have met so far.
I'm currently playing X, and I'm not a fan at all, but it's the only one I own. The main character is just annoying, but the other characters are fantastic. I think X is a bit too emotional for me.
I cant wait to try XII, but it'll be a while as the prices are still sky high at the moment.

I'd have to suggesy Final Fantasy 4
the graphics are ols school but the storyline is incredible and for anyone whos played 7 on up youll start to figure out where a lot of final fantasy names and charachters got famous, especially if youve played 9. I think you can get for playstation one title Final Fantasy Chronicles which includes another great game Chrono Trigger.

For me! i like the final fantasy 8,7,and 9. Im a certified final fantasy addict also. Ilove the game very much. The char. are very nice and interesting.But the most beautiful final fantasy for me is the final fantasy 8. the game is very interesing. I enjoy it very much.!
