What do you like about Rasam?

Rasam is a tasty South Indian soup made with juices of tomato, tamarind with additional pepper and spices. What do u like most about rasam? the taste, its medicinal values, easy to cook, easily digestible.. or what ever might be the reason.. u can have a discussion and u can raise any questions related to RASAM... Rasam is a fantastic Appetizer of all South Indian food.. It is ofcourse easily digestable and lots of medicinal value.. However it should not be made out of powders avbl in the shops.. the traditional way of preparing is the best.. I sometimes take whenever I am stuck with Cold and Cough.. My favs Lemon rasam, Ginger rasam
