Another Potty Training Question...

Just another question I forgot to ask. Right now for the potty training we are doing the sticker chart and he gets 4 gummie bears after using the potty. I am just so proud of him because before he wouldn't even sit on it. How long do I continue this reward system? Until he masters the potty and just goes to it on his own? Any advice? Thanks :-)
