Our Timers

Have anyone else's kiddos fallen in love with our timers? I have a 2 yr old that I have to hide the timer from because she will set it and then go do something until it dings and then come and set again. She even hid it from me so that she could play with it. I am thinking for her gift package I am doing up for her for when the new baby gets here that I will give her a timer and buy her a broom and vaccume and a little set of dishes to go along with her baby and things that I want to get her. Everytime I go to clean she takes over whatever I am doing and tells me "No Mommy" and takes me to the couch and tells me to sit. I guess that at least she will know how to keep a clean house when she gets older. She didn't get it from me so I am wondering where this is coming from. We also have to get a baby doll for Lilly my 11 month old for when the baby gets here.
