My kitty likes hiding under rugs!

My kitten, Sasha, has decided she likes hiding under rugs. We have a big floor rug in the living room and a runner of the same pattern in front of our chairs. Sasha has started burrowing under the edge of the runner and staying there until our other cat, Sierra, walks by and then POUNCES! It is so funny to watch. She will crawl under and then bat at my hubbies feet when he is sitting in his chair. I have never had a cat that buried herself under things. We have to be careful on the sofa and bed because you never know where she will be cuddled under sopmething sleeping. Now she's got our other cat starting to look under things too.

Heheh that sounds like some of our cats. We have one that likes to climb behind the TV on the entertainment center and sleep there. Then we have others that like to hide so that way just their eyes and nose are visible from under the couch or bed; if you go to make the bed they like to play with your feet that way. Of course they also like the tops of recliners, which is fine and dandy till you go to sit down or get up. Then if you didn't see them before they go back and forth for a moment, if not slide into you, and then give you this look of "what happened?"
Got to love cats and what they will do or where they will go. Ours like cupboards as well, especially the one above the fridge. They are silly.

Oh you are so right! Cats are silly and amazing little creatures. My Sasha likes to be made up into the bed.
We got a new printer today and they both played in the box for quit a while. One would think we had brought home a new cat toy instead of a new people toy. LOL
recliners can be fun with cats. watch out underneath. We found one cat that was missing for hours under the recliner. Why she didn't cry out we do not know! LOL
