Dances with wolves and the Sioux. How does it make you feel?

I just watched that great movie "Dances with Wolves". I cannot help but feel sorry for the Sioux. But I guess... that was the whole point of the movie. How do you feel today about the American Indians? Were they the bad guys pictured in the John Wayne movies? Or the good guys pictured in "Dances with Wolves"? After all... we have to keep in mind that all they did was fighting for their land and their country. They might have done it in a barbaric way... but it was their culture. And really... the white men can be just as barbaric as any Indian when it want to be.

Yes "Dances with Wales" was an amazing movie I loved it a lot, I loved the American Indians, and do not think that they were all bad. Yes I believe that they had a right to fight and if you don't fight for your rights then they will just take over what is rightfully yours. Yes you are right a white man can be barbaric when he wants to be.
