I think each state's people in Malaysia have different driving attitude. I'm from Johor and see some forum will said that johorean most are over speed oh..actually I admit with it because before that i also like to drive fast but still will care about safety la. You from which state & let's talk about your state's driving attitude k?

My first time ever in Asia, I had a week in singapore, followed by a week in Malaysia... The Singapore taxi drivers were careful & good drivers, so I moved onto Malaysia with no fears...took a train from Singapore to KL, then happily hopped in a minivan to go from KL to Port Dickson... OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!...I thought my last days had come!!!!! The driver was weaving in & out of traffic, narrowly missing vehicles as he forced his way in front of them, passing on the inside of huge trucks, roaring along the wrong side of the road, as trucks bore down on us head on... All this whilst turning completely round in his seat, to talk to people in the back..... By the time I got out of the van at my hotel, my legs were shaking so badly, I could barely stand!Since then I have spent a lot of time in Indonesia, where the driving is on a par...lol I have now come to the conclusion that if I am going to be killed by one of these drivers, at least it will be whilst doing something I love...travelling...LMAO

When I was in Malaysia I tripped down an open drain whilst on the East Coast. I looked for a taxi driver to take me to the border of Singapore. I got an old driver in the hope his driving was safe. No! he was just as bad as the younger taxi drivers. The driver was from Mersing and he drove me to Johor.
