puppy growing pains

our 7 month old pit bull has been limping for a week now. we took him to the vet and he said that our dog, Chance, is playing too rough. the vet thinks that he is havin pain because he has chipped his bone...so they pit him on pain meds. has anyone had this happen to their dogs?

I've never had that happen to any of my puppies. Although, I never really let my dogs play all that rough. I hope your dog gets better soon though.
