I just had a typing test earlier. And i'm so proud of myself that I can now type as much as 57 words per minute. Yahoo! Before it was only 23 words per minute. I think my being an active member here in mylot has helped my typing speed. As day goes by, I've also noticed that eventually, I can now type without really looking at the keyboard all the time.
DOes mylot also affect your typing skills? How fast do you type? HAve you improved than before? What are basically the factors that improved your typing skills?

I haven't really done a real test but I think mine's around 30ish pm. Just very average. Though I can type with my eyes closed, I am not using typing using the recommended "correct" way of typing. I just invented my own way and it has been years already. :P

I just figured it out that I misspelled the word TYPING into TYPIND on my title. Sorry folk! Just a tyographical error. Lol. Anyway, it's okay. I'm also have my own way in typing. I just couldn't follow the correct way of typing. :) you're not alone in this world Friend! lol :)

Hey hi,well very true here, as aftre being on mylot its really made typing fast nad easy one, now i can really type fast here, so keep posting quality responses, keep searching good discussions about which you know something and can answer, strictly avoid one liner posts,best luck and happy earning!!!...cheers!!

i dont know how much i type per minute but this for sure that i ahve improved my typing skills aswell... mylot really helped in this regard no doubt.

I am not too sure about my typing speed. I haven't tested in a while. It took me a long time to build up my speed, but I believe I am around 50-60 wpm. Which in my eyes isn't very fast, but it works for me.

I chuckled whenI read your header and thought about the high cost of speed. Like you, I write nonsensical words in my haste to get the thought expressed. But hey, congrats on a good test result. Any daily use of the keyboard will improve your skill.

Yeah, i just figured it out. Shame on me! lol. I'm sorry for the error. :) Sometimes, we tend to commit mistakes in typing whether you type fast or not. lol :) Thanks a lot for responding, friend! :)

I can type about 60 words a minute. I just practiced a lot with writing papers for school and just writing on the computer. I have been typing for a while, but my mom taught me and she typed for a living. so, maybe that is why, I'd like to be able to type faster, but..maybe sometime I'll be able to.
