Do you think it is really dangerous to tan in tanning beds? I have read articles saying tanning beds contribute to cancer and other articles that say tanning beds are not bad for us. I love tanning and always feel so much better after I have tanned. What do you think about this subject?

I do believe that tanning beds are dangerous and are more hazardous to a persons health than even the sun. From what I have heard, the beds have more harmful rays than the sun so you better off getting a natural tan than using a machine. I would rather use suntan lotion and the sun for tanning than a machine. I think the invention of tanning beds was a bad idea.

I have read both. That they are worse than being in the sun and that they are better than being in the sun. I guess it all depends on whose review we read.

ive heard that tanning beds are bad for,but ive also have heard totally opposite.i love tanning beds.i dont think they are anymore harmful than smokeing or eating greasy foods ect..the people that say tanning beds give you cancer or are bad for your skin are probably doing something other than tanning, thats not good for them either.my opinion is you only live once, enjoy it the way you want to.

15 minutes during the morning or afternoon of sunshine can increase your vitamin D, so it does make you feel good. But any kind of sun exposure that makes you tan tans you because IT IS HURTING YOU. It's aging your skin and releasing free radicals that can cause cancer.
