If you get a "best response"

do you receive any extra money for that? Or is it just something extra that is there for our personal benefit?

Yes there's some money in it but mylot is not revealing how much or how exactly you get paid for it, you either receive a few extra cents directly or your earnings per post ratio goes up when you receive best responses, it's always a nice thing to take some time resolving your old discussions and giving best responses to help other members :)

You cant always count on the ration factor because it depends upon quality as well they state so higher rating would be of more value to 10 then a 5

quality points should increase and thus better payout. I do think the payouts have reduced on here. I think it may be the increase in users we have to share with.
