movie with true story

some times we saw movies that have title and downward to that title they wrote true story...but the end is very tragic r sometimes unbelievable ...do u think that was true?

Most of the times movies that say that are "BASED" on a true story. Meaning that some of the events happened but other stuff is added or imbelished upon.

It's hard for me to answer this, as you didn't name the movie! Or are you just talking about any and all movies that are based on a true story?
