Do 'open relationships' work?

I was recently at my very good friends wedding... after a couple too many bottles of wine the bride confided in me that she and her now husband are swingers. That they would often get all dressed up and then go and meet other people. She then pointed out at table of people at the reception that were all part of her swinging group. I don't have anything against what they are doing- it obviously works for them... they as a couple, have both decided that sexually they like to try different things with different people- it is what works for them. Do you think that 'open' relationships work?

Regardless, right or wrong but i can not deny it is a turn on. When u think about it, u can look at it as u look 2 threesome but i believe it'll work if both partners agreed 2 it and they select with whom they do it, if one isn't happy it would never work. Frankly speaking, chances for an open relatioship 2 work are slim but sometimes they do. It really depends on many things, eithics, both partners, bla bla bla Thank you 4 the post

I think it depends on the couple. I personally wouldn't want it and my husband won't either. If the couple both like it then it's up to them.
