money is the root of all evils as they say..... is it true?

I SAY mONEY IS JUST A MATERIAL THING. iT DOES NOT HAVE A MIND OF HIS OWN. IT DEPENDS ON HOW YOU WILL USE IT. IF YOU USE IT WISELY AND AS LONG AS YOU WILL NOT USE IT FOR BAD INTENTION THEN HAVING MONEY IS GOOD. BUT IF YOU WILL USE IT TO HARM OTHER PEOPLE OR TO DESTROY YOUR INDIVIDUALITY THEN i SAY YOU ARE THE ONE THAT MADE THE EVIL INTENTION USING YOUR MONEY. HOW ABOUT YOU? WHAT IS YOUR COMMENT

I agree with your views on money. But yes with more money comes more responsibility. Money is not the root cause of all evils, it is our mind. Money does not control our minds to do evil things, money is just a piece of paper. It is our mind that conjures up evil schemes and uses the money to go about it. But you can make the tables turn. If you have a good heart and mind, then you can use the money to do good things. A lot of money can help a lot of people. If ever I ahve lots of money to spend, I wouldn't spend it on silliy material things. There are lots of needy people that just needs a little help. What I wanted to do is to take 1 kid from each poor family, give that kid education and good life. For me the kid will be the beacon of hope for that poor family. It's like a pay it forward thing. They don't have to pay me back. The way to return the favor is to help their family.

It says, "For the Love of money is the root of all evil." Money itself isn't the evil part...it's our love for money. I believe it's in Timothy and you can find "for the love" part in most translations.

Actually what the bible says is The love of money is the root of all evil. Money itself is not evil. We have to have it to make it in this world. We do not have to make it the top thing on our list every way of our lives.
