The Teaching profession

It had always been said that teaching is the noblest of all profession. Yet the compensation that teachers receive is not equal with the effort they do in their work. Teachers in the Philippines have practiced their career not for the salary anymore but because of passion for children. But because of the life teachers have in that country, they were forced to withdraw from teaching and proceed to work abroad for them to sustain ther family's needs. VERY TRUE... all you've encoded here are facts! And we can't blame the teachers resigning from their present work and applying for an overseas job just to earn a REAL LIVING to support their beloved family!

The sad thing is most of those who went abroad are the top teachers. So those who were left are nuisance teachers, who teach just to have a job.

Unfortunately, in America, the markets and the people determine professions pay. We, as Americans, prefer to pay our athletes, actors, and musicians millions of dollars before we pay nurses and teacher. Behind every great doctor is two great nurses and a teacher who taught him or her.
