Pitching in on housework helps children develop life skills

with our guide o age appropriate choers and effective delegation,getting those litle hand to help is a shoo-in..though most pinoy parets can afford to employ household help to pick up efter their children,they shoudnt have to exempt their tots from helping out at home.

I agree with you 100% and I practice this at home. I have domestic help but my kids have to clean their rooms, put out play things, the elder one has to brush his shoes, put his clothes in soapy water after coming back from school etc etc. They even have to wash their lunch boxes and water bottles. The elder one would help the younger one with her homework and sometimes, the elder one is responsible for yonger one. They are 8 yrs and 4 yrs of age and are quite responsible for their age. I am very proud about them actually. I think these good habits would be their treasures in the future.

Yes thats true it is their treasure in the future. But i always remind them cuz they still young and need guidance.
