PRE prod or POST prod?

In cooking... which do you like better? To participate in the Pre production, meaning chopping, slicing, ang getting stuff ready for cooking and cooking itself? Or do you prefer cleaning up after and doing the dishes? I prefer the PRE prod stage, I enjoy chopping things up, though some people feel it is time consuming and tiring to prepare for a meal, I enjoy it better than cleaning up.

I like the actual cooking (MID prod) and the eating part (POST POST prod) LOL Spaghetti used to be my favorite dish so I learned how to cook it. I did everything from start to finish. When I learned how to make it I taught the maids how so that the next time I would just cook and eat hehehe Same goes with the other dishes that I love to cook.

I'll take the PRE eventhough I won't be much help coz I'd rather smoke and relax after eating than have to clean up hehehe

I like to cook. For me, it is very relaxing. Even the task of cutting, chopping, mixing, and stirring has a very theraupeutic effect on me. I love experimenting in the kitchen. Sometimes Iwould cook following a new recipe, then I will cook the same dish at another occassion, but this time with my own modifications. Yes, for me, the kitchen is like my laboratory, a place to concoct healthy, tasty treats for my hubby and me. As for the cleaning after, I'm not really wild about it. I do not mind doing it, but sometimes when you have been working all day, then you came home to cook dinner, and after you have eaten your meal, it can be such an effort to clean up and wash the dishes. Thanks goodness for invention like the dishwasher or I would be cleaning up still in the kitchen by almost midnight. LOL! So I guess it is Pre Prod for me, after all.

Yeh I know that cooking is some kind of a teraphy to some people, just the act of chopping and slicing, it is actually very relaxing, not to mention if you are up to whipping up a comfort food. I also think that cooking is a good group activity, be it friends or family, it is always nice to be able to spend time bonding in the kitchen.

I also prefer pre-production, because it is where I am good at. Just like here at home, I prefer cooking than washing and cleaning dishes. I enjoy preparing good and healthy meals at my family, and I'm glad that they do appreciate it too!;)

i love pre prod cooking because it is interesting fun. i want to share with you my experience regarding my full time cooking which is occured in the summer season when my spouse went for summer holiday with kid for one month every year(she is school teacher). complete one month i prepare myself my meal for lunch and dinner and i accept it as challenge. i have expertise in preparing chapati, sabzi, egg kari, daal, rice , chiken, and in vegetable, bringal, locky, cabbage, cauliflower, razma etc. and i do not fed up at all. and for this kind of act my wife applauded lot. thanks.

I guess i like the eating part since i have never been up to cooking or helping around to cook. Although most of the task assigned to me is either slicing and stuff or washing dishes so i get to clean up all the mess they made while cooking.:P

I love the pre production, hate the post prod. I have no problem with cooking, no matter how tired or what ever mood I am in, I still don't mind cooking. My roommate cooks all day in his job so when he gets home the last thing he wants to do is cook, so he like to clean up, so it works out really good for us.
