Telemarketing to cell phones is legal if they have your number. If you gave out your cell # to a business, that business has the right to sell their customer information. Anytime anyone asks for my phone number, especially at a store that requires that before you check out, I give them a wrong number. I only have a cell phone and do not need 100 calls a day from telemarketers trying to give me credit cards, a new bathtub, a new roof or trying to get me to donate to the retired policemens fund.
