The world of SKYSCRAPERS...

One feature of the world today which I believe is most fantastic is the modern style of erecting magnificent buildings - this style is what we now fondly call skyscrapers. Many countries nowadays adapt this monumental system of construction because of its low demand in land area and its powerful aura to the general public. Cities like New York, Chicago, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, and Shanghai lead in having these types of structures.
These building in fact compete in aesthetics, general design, and of course, in height. Todays current heighest is the Taipei 101 in Taiwan which dethroned Malaysia's Petronas.
For me the most beautiful skyscraper is the Burj al Arab in the UAE.. I like its boat-like style..

I also think that the Burj al Arab is one of the world's finest hotels in terms of eathetics with it's design like a billowing sail. It also has one of the worlds best services that any hotel can ever offer.
