My Cat Repo'd my Couch!!!

I came home from work the other day, and my cat Jasmine was laying on the couch...sleeping. I came in, said hi to the wife, and sat down...Yet, the moment I hit the couch, Jasmine slapped me in the face. I turned around and looked at her, and she had the most disgusted look on her face. Almost like..."How dare you sit on my couch." I thought to myself...I pay the mortgage and bought the couch you're sitting on. Then, I realized...why should I rationalize with a cat? But it happens more, and more. Anybody have other things your cat has repo'd??? couches, beds, blankets???

Oh yes, cats are very territorial and get upset when you move them. We have 4. Try finding a seat in the living room to watch TV.. or one little cat takes the whole bed. Pretty soon they have a whole bunch of furniture just for them! I love it.

Moomin will always repo my bed especially when she decides it's HER bed. She will happily also repo the sofa and will, on occasion, force me to move in order to stretch out.

I happened to leave one of my woollen pullovers on the bed and it was immediately colonised by my two cats and I've not been able to use it since! The bed itself is an area of contention of course... :)

My cats are the same one of them has control over one couch and the other has an armchair.! The only place I have left to sit is the dining room chair, when their around.
