My weight loss journey.....

I have started my looong weight loss journey. After nealry 10 yrs of fad diets and starving myself on and off, only to gain even more weight, I have finally realsied the only way to do this successfully is to eat sensibly and exercise my butt off! I started at a gym the week before last, and have consulted a dietition.... so far I have lost just over 5.5kg's and I am feeling better already, even though I still have a long way to go. It's not going to be easy, but the rewards will be huge.

Congratulation it's good for you..You are right that starving your self is not a good way to lose weight as you will gain the weight back on easily. It's because when you starve yourself your body thinks that your body is in starvation mode therefore it will slow down and even stop burning any calorie and the result is you don't lose weight but gain it again.
