I have watched my Computer tech when he is upgrading my computer and he makes t look very easy but then he knows what he is doing, I wouldn't know the first thing, it is amazing how these guys can build the tower of a computer and have never been to school to learn it....

It is relatively easy to do. First thing you need is to make sure that the PC is unplugged. Also, there are several PC parts that don't work in different motherboards; cpu especially. SDRAMs don't fit in DDRRAMs slots, PCI expansions cards is universal for mobos, it just depends if the OS supports the device. Video Adapters- AGP cards, PCI video adapters, PCI-E cards dont fit in the same slots..,

it's very easy to switch parts, just unblug and blug things, but you need to have the CDs that came with cards to instal the drivers from it, sound cards, graphics, etc needs drivers and will not work if replaced without updating the drivers, windows XP can update drivers automatically or online.. things like CD rom, hard disks, flooby drives can be switched without any drivers updates.
