Canadian Soldier honoured for courage in Afganistan beat up in local bar

I think they should charge these guys and give them a serious sentence. what do you think?

Hi Linda Was there more to the story? Did the guy do nothing then got beat up. If so then that is terrible.Why in the world would someone just beat him up. Were they robbing the poor guy? R

I don't think there was anything more to the story. They where at the bar for 20 minutes. His friend was introducing him as a war hero. It is just terrible.

That was so frustrating to read a medal valour awardee been beat without any cause just because he was introduce as a war hero which is true for he really render a outstanding selfish duty on battle zone. These guys are on ego or power tripping that they somewhat eny a guy of accomplishment and they have nothing to do to beat that accomplishment but to humuliate him by beating him without a cause grrr!! I think the authorities on that area should come up with the four assailant and charge them with serious charge and let them rotten to jail or it is better to send them to agfhan and be a bait to the enemy lol!!!

Yes Linda I agree with you there. I just do not know why they have to do it. This Soldier has been to hell and back and then he comes home and gets that. I do hope the Guy who did it will go down for it.

My cousin is over their now. I would hate to think of someone beating him up when he came home.
