How long did you wait before you got the STAR RATING 10?

Honestly, the stars dont mean a thing to me. I give a + to everyone who replies to my posts/discussions, and to the creater of the discussion im replying to. I think anyone who catches my attention earns a little "+" :)

I have had a 10 star since this star rating thing began a couple months back. None if us here on Mylot really understand the concept of it, except that it is a good thing. When Mylot sent out the important message to explain it, to me, they did a very poor job of making it understanding to us here at Mylot. They said no number is bad, and do not judge you peers on their numbers, neither high or low. Makes no sense! And then you may have noticed it has nothing to do with your numerical rating. I have a rating of over 1300. I have seen people with ratings much higher than mine and they only have an 8 or a 9. And then someone may have a rating of 200 and have a 10-star, which I have seen too. So your guess is as good as everyone else's.

When I hit my 100 mark I was a 9 star. The very mext discussion/response or whatever I can't recall I was a 10 star. I do quality discussions & responses. The star rating entails all you do here as far as other members are concerned. The ratings you recieve from them & the quality of your actions here are the main basis for the ratings. Thanks for your discussions & responses and comment. Don't fret about the star. Just keep doing what you're doing. I enjoy it all. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!

No offence meant jengrin, but I just checked your responses and I think you should try to respond with at least 4 - 5 lines. It could be that some of the people who are posting topics are not rating their responses and I think some of them may forget to do this. I have had my star since they started but I have made quite a lot of responses and I am thankful to the people here that have rated me. Keep posting and your star rating will go up soon. I will give you a plus to help you on your way.

At the very first day when Mylot have strted the rating system, I got the red 9 star rating. Only after 2or 3 days of it I have got the blue 10 star. Fortunately I am continuing with the blue star. I want to thanks all my friends and other members who rated my discussions and responses with a "+". Try to make the responses as good as you can. People will surely give you plus. I always rate the discussions to which I respond, so I am going to give you a plus here. Good Luck!

In my case when I first get my start (after 100 post) i got my 9.. then.. after replying some post i reach the 10 rate.. and now suddenly it becomes 9 again. Our rating is really unpredictable and is truly unstable, whether you answer it as good as you can or as high quality as you can think, The point is mylot user are human who might agree or disagree to what you commented and they will rate you base on how they feel.. Just stick in quality post and everything would be OK surely you will get your 10 rating very soon all you have to do is to hang - on :).. though rating will boost your morale to motivate you in posting and responding a discussion it might also have a negative effect in someway. Think positive.. and enjoy mylotting.. cheers

Hey hi,me too still waiting for this , infact it depends how other users rate your replies here,well wish you reach to rating 10 soon,as here you can make money just by answering discussions on mylot, and starting new discussions too, infact you can boost your earning by uploading photos, so keep posting quality responses, keep searching good discussions about which you know something and can answer, strictly avoid one liner posts,best luck and happy earning!!!...cheers!!

It is hard to say when you can get a blue star, you need to give good response so that you can get a postive rating. I think your rating will be improved faster if you are being chosen for the best response. Havinf a 9 or 10 rating may not make a huge difference, unless you get too low,,otherwise , i think the earnings will still be the same..
