Mercedes Lackey - favourite author

Mercedes Lackey is my favourite author and I have read everythign she's ever written. The Heralds of Valdermar series is still the best, for me, although her London books of magic come a close second. Anyone else love Ms Lackey's work?

I love her new series, the 500 Kingdoms. I also like her "urban elf" stuff. I've meet Misty & Larry a few times and they are very nice people. I lost the dear friend that introduced her books to me 8 yrs ago, & I haven't followed where they are going to be since then. It was nice to meet them, tho.

^^ I love her books. I like the gryphon series, the books of magic too, and a few of the herald books. I haven't gotten around to read more though. I need to read more...

You do need to read more!!! hee hee, if you liek the gryphon series then try the dragon rider series, the first one is Alta. enjoy x

Well I only one book really coming to mind that I know she wrote and it was actually one where she co-wrote it with two others. Each one did a main character and it was then merged together. It was with Andre Norton and I think Marion Zimmer Bradely but I cannot remember the name of the book. It was quite good though. I know I read a couple of others by her but not sure what they were now or even what they were about.

Hi, Her book with Marion Zimmer Bradley was Tiger Tiger, and her books with Andre Norton were a series involving Bards / elfs / gypsys / and strange bird like crreatures but for the life of me I can't remember the titles this early in the morning.
