US Attorneys Fired

We have all seen the stories of how several US Attorneys were fired. Do you think this was because they were not doing their job or was it politically motivated?

Good point. It is known that the President has the right to hire and fire whomever he wants. It is not uncommon for an incoming President to let go certain people so that he can put in his appointments.As they say "we serve at the pleasure of the President".
