Momma's and the Pappa's

Some of you most likely remeber the momma's and the pappa's from the 60's. Unfortunately there is only one member of the group that still is alive which happens to be Michelle Phillips. Wishing that the rest were still around its heartwrenching. All feedback on the momma's and the pappa's is greatly appreciated.

is Michelle Philips the mother of the girls from the 80's band Wilson Philips?
I like the Mamas and the Papas. I have thier greatest hits. My brothers and I used to sing California Dreaming all the time...except I sang the lead and they did the girl part.
