I was born in Ukraine and lived there for 20+ years, when it was still part of the Soviet Union. It is indeed a beautiful country with nice people. I wish the economic and political situation to finally stabilize.

Hello Vikusha. Honestly speaking I have never been to ukraine. But way back in the year 2001, I and a number of people from the Philippines went to Chungju, South Korea in a world martial arts festival. Among the 17 or more teams that came from different countries were a bunch of people from Ukraine who demonstrated their martial arts expertise. I still have the tape with me of them performing on stage. They were very friendly and sociable which I believe reflects the country where they came from. Many of the other representatives, even the Koreans, liked their outgoing social nature.

I have been to the Ukraine. I went to Dniprovetsk, two years ago to watch the Hibs v Dnipro Dniprovetsk, unfortunately my team lost but I remember the Dnipro fans cheering us for the support we gave our team. I really enjoyed my time there, the people were so friendly and helpful as none of us could speak ukrainian. I would love to go back and see more of your country it looks very beautiful.
