How many of you like graphic novels? I've gotten into them recently. One of my friends suggested I read The Watchmen because I was taking a class that had the Maus books as required reading, and I'd never read a graphic novel before. Since then I've been hooked. I still find myself suprised at how many graphic novels are based on real life experiences. I think it's a great way to tell real life experiences though because you can show more emotion through art. What are your favorite graphic novels? Mine are The Watchmen, the Maus Books, V for Vendetta and Blankets.

I love graphic novels. I love comics also. But stories based on real life experiences that usually cater to an adult market are marketed in this format. I have several favorites and I can't recall them from the top of my head but what made me rediscover comics was Neil Gaiman's Sandman series. Alan Moore's books are always a good read too.

I love graphic novels, though I've not read enough of them to really have a favorite. I've read one called Hammer, I think a couple Buffy ones..and that's about it. I'm dying to read The Amory Wars series 'cause they're written by my favorite (concept) band.
