The Bronx Zoo

Is there anyone out there who lives outside of NY and has come to visit and gone to the Bronx Zoo? Did you like/dislike your visit? What do you think of the Bronx Zoo?

Hi tsgirl, I have been to the Bronx Zoo and the zoo in Central Park of Manhattan. I personally do not like the zoos in NY anymore. They are too expensive and I can recall years ago they had more attractions and animals to see. They have removed so many animals, it's like they just a few animals because they have to being a zoo but it is just not the same as it used to be.

Hi howard96h, I understand what you mean. The zoo's are terribly expensive these days. I personally love the Central Park Zoo, it is smaller and quieter. I see that the Bronx Zoo seems to have taken away the cages of years ago and the animals lives there are more like their natural habitats. Thanks for responding, take care...

I lived in the Bronx when I was a child, and I visited the zoo a few times. I always enjoyed it. Except as a child I always worried about the animals. I wanted them to be treated right and kind and taken care of correctly. I do love animals and get upset with all the mistreatment lots of them recieve by people who shouldn't have them. I hope to go back and let my grandchildren enjoy and know What I enjoyed so much. Thank you for my fond memories.
