What ever happened to the cheap drinks?

I used to go to Vegas and buy a beer for $2, or just sit down at a nickel machine, and wait for my free drink. Last time I went to Vegas, though, I spent $10 per drink at the Luxor. My bar bill ended up being $800 for 3 days. Does anybody know why this is happenening, and where all the good drink specials are?

The only good drink specials in Vegas that I know of are the comped drinks at the casinos! If you play slot machines for long enough, you'll be able to get free drinks from the cocktail waitresses that roam around. When I took my last trip to Las Vegas, I had good luck with comped drinks at the Wynn. The drinks are small, but the quality of the liquors is high, and the waitresses got more generous after we tipped them well. If you want good comped drinks, you might want to try the Wynn next time you go.
