Electric companies

I don't know about any of you but my last bill from my electric company almost made me pass out. I have never had such a high bill since living in this house. And now they are charging me another deposit of $100.00. They are already holding $184.00 of my money in deposit in case I were to not pay my bill I guess. But I have lived in the same house for 11 years and can't get electric service anywhere else so what the heck are they doing charging me more. Yes, they said I will get that deposit back some day but my electric has never been more than 120. until last month when it was all of a sudden 200.00 (isn't that a crazy jump?) Now they add the deposit saying since my bill is more they need to hold more for a deposit. These people are making a killing every month and taking advantage of the fact that people can't just leave and go to another company. I am sick of it!!

hey ditto here. I am so disgusted. It is like too bad we have you over a barrel. either go solar or be chained to us I am so so sick of it too. we should all refuse to pay our bills then see what they do well for the record the power company here in Wa. State was egged in December LOL! I laughed even though it was juvenile.... it is sickening how they are not regulated tahnk you for this topic
