and it just won't go away?! this happens to me quite a bit. Today I've had Kid Rock's "Cowboy" in my head, and occassionally have been "singing" it out loud. Good thing my coworkers are out of the office today! LOL Funny thing is that I haven't heard that song in ages. Does this happen to you? Is it one song in particular or does it vary?

A remedy for this that I have heard which works for me (which would probably work for you if you know what I am talking about) is the Hockey Night in Canada Theme Song, that can take ANY song out of your head.

Okay, so the other day i did something for a friend, and i seem to be able to figure things out for him pretty fast and a song popped into my head that i don't think I've heard since i was knee high to a grasshopper.... Called "I can do anything you can do better" By: Irving Berlin Here's just a few lines, it's too funny.... "Anything you can do, I can do better I can do any thing better than you No you can't, Yes I can, No you can't, Yes I can No you can't, Yes I can, yes I can" Anyway, it pops into my head every once in a while since that day still, but for the rest of that day and into the next, i sang that over and over again, it just wouldn't go away.....

I get all kinds of those! I just tell my co-workers that the voices in my head are singing to me again...I think they're starting to take me seriously!! A lot of the time, it's commercials, like the k-9 Advantage "Ain't no bugs on me, ain't no bugs on me, might be bugs on some of you mugs, but there ain't no bugs on me!" Or silly stuff like "C is for Cookie" Today it was more grown up tho, "Love in the Elevator" by Aerosmith!

I hate when a song gets stuck in my head. When that happens I try to listen to more music to get it out of my head. Usually it works but there are times that it dosnt and I am stuck with it untill I go to bed.

Hey the same thing has happened to me twice today. One song I haven't heard in a while that I keep singing now is Terri Clark's - Poor Pitiful Me... and earlier I kept busting out singing Danity Kane's "Show Stoppin" I'm glad there is no one with me at home to listen to my awful singing.

That happens to me often. The songs always vary but one can last a long time and it drives me nuts. I have even said in my head and out loud "go away"! I dont know exactly when it does go away and I am glad because then I would think it's gone but just thinking again about it...brings it back. Grrr

I get that all the time! It's so annoying sometimes when the song is a song I really don't like. Then it's not so bad unless I don't know the words and just get stuck on a certain part. That's irksome. Other times I find myself singing in the shower. It's sorta odd. lol

Thanks for all of the earworms from this thread! LOL! I've had the theme song from PBS's Caillou stuck in my head for days. It could at least be something worth humming!
