How do I get my discussion on the home page?

I was just wondering how to get my discussion on the homepage, so that when I click "home", I will see my discussion on there. Please help!

The home page usually shows the day's top discussinos. The only way you are going to get there is to have many responses to your discussion in one day. And it probably has to be a quality post too.
