Women's effort vs. Men's recognition.

Sometimes ladies get mad if their man failed to utter a recognition/appreciation on their new looks, on their new scent, on their new dress? I don't get it? as a man i appreciated everything my woman does...there is a WOW inside yet have been failed to say...suddenly the woman gets mad? Is it really important that man should utter appreciation at all times? Man thinks more of the financial issues, dealing with greater problems...so they fail to appreciate little things like woman's new haircut, that she is fresh from the beauty parlor, that she wearing a new sexy dress...I just don't get it?
