If in case after marriage, your parents in law asks you to live and raise your future family with them- would you consider this choice, given you can afford to buy you and your wife/husband a house of your own- would you still heed their request?

It would very much depend on the relationship I had with my in laws! I think every couple needs some privacy and if they could respect and promote a healthy relationship then I wouldn't see it as a problem!

Nope, I wouldn't agree to their request. It's so hard to live with your in laws coz you can't be yourself. You always live up to their expectations coz if not, they will tell something bad about you. You don't have freedom. They will be the one to tell you what to do. Every mistake you make is like so big to them that all of the relatives of your partner will know about it. It's still nice if you can start your own life together so that you will know how to budget, how to do some stuff that are necessary for the marriage. You can shout all you want if you have a fight.. hehee:)

Well yes, i can accept their offer because its not everyday that our parents or parents-in-law asks us to be with them and it is actually an honor to live with them. I believe in a closely knit family.

No, unless someone really have to it would not be a good choice, privacy and freedom can't happen when living with others espcially inlaws when they feel that they have the right to interfer with everything, if someone can afford a seprate place it would not be recommnded to live with the inlaws..
