How disciplined are WE?

Discipline is a frequently used word that is repeated every now and then and here in myLot all the friends know what it is. Discipline in every action is sought. While it is sought from other side only, most of the times people may behave differently. In a hospital, you may find a picture of a nurse indicating you to keep silence. But in the doctor's cabin or for that matter, in a nurse room, lot of hoo haa. Is it a license to make noise? What does it really mean? Teaching requires complete knowledge about the subject. Half way would become mere preaching. Doing without knowing is a mistake. Doing wrong thing knowingly is a blender. Your views ???

We as modern humans are not very disciplined. We might enforce the rules however those that enforce the rules break them. Which shows none. I used to have more discipline when I was younger, especially with music. I used to play 6 to 12 hours a day. Now that I have more money I don't have to be as much. I am sure if I didn't own my house & had to make an $800 house payment I would have to be more disciplined but I bought it so I can slack. It took rules to save the money to buy the house. I could have traveled with the money instead.

Hi friend Great art like music has to be devoted continuously. It is a passion for the art. I think, money matter should not come into picture. I feel, your priorities have now changed for obvious reasons. Incidentally, I am also a musician (traditional carnatic music-vocalist) and even now I am practising whenver my mood, throat, urge for music sets in. Nevertheless at least one hour I devout for music. Sometimes, I worship music for hours together. It may be just listening, or reading music realted books. More involvement in a particular field, professionlism crops up. Of course, the conditions associated with one person to the other is different. Maintaining a discipline is an uphill task and still can be made with will and perseverance. Best of luck for your regaining music love and worship.

Creating in a mistake in a known environment, does not exactly mean that we are breaking a discipline. But if a person is well acknowledged about it, then one should not do it again and agaain purposely. This would certainly mean breaking the discipline
