Dentists.........Do you go if you know your going to have a toothache?

Me I HATE dentists, I try to avoid them at all costs. I really hate when your in the chair, and you have yout mouth wide open and you cant really swallow cause he/she is working on your teeth. The only reason I 'have' to go is to get fillings cause I have a very sweet tooth...8P. But anyway, when he/she is working they dont use the sucky thing to suck up all the shavings and spit that forms in your mouth. Its really horrible caue it makes you want to swallow, (trust me, dont do that, its...*augh*). The thing is i've been to about 4 different ones and they all didnt bother to do it ,even after I asked them to. But I will have to go again, cause I left it one time and it got so bad I couldn't sleep. I got like..........no more that 3 or so hours of sleep for a week. Definetaly dont want that pain again...[8.}... So you ever go to the dentist?

I hate going to the dentist, too. But now I have gum disease and some cavities, some crowns, and a root canal. I wish I had gone more regularly now. As much as you hate it, it is worse to have to go for really serious problems.

root canal! really? I herd that was the most escrutiating thing you can have done...is it?

No, actually, it was great! They gave me gas and numbed me up and I didn't feel a thing. The relief from the pain that I was feeling was wonderful. The most pain I had was from the shots to numb my mouth.

so do they fill the whole tooth with filling. I'm asking cause i am needing one soon and am thinking of just getting it taken out. To save the hastle of having to go back again.
