Do you believe in synchronicity? How do know when your life is on track?

Sometimes it seems like to me that the universe communicates with us in a way, telling us when we're on the right track. And sometimes that seems like a load of horse puckey. Anyway, does anyone have any suggestions for figuring out if you're going about things in the right way?
