Snoring emberesment

Why do people snore at night? No one himself knows that he or she snores at night. Do everyone snores? I have heard of people snoring at day time also .

I was talking to a sleep doctor about that and he said that most people snore a little on occasion and some people more than others. He said that it was quite a normal thing to snore a little. It gets more serious if at times during the night, you stop breathing. It is called apnea...
