i've heard that they sell the hair, and if so how do you go about selling hair after its being cut and to who?

The Native Americans are famous for having long thick hair. Asians have long thick hair, but we don't have that much.I had hair down to my waist and stupidly, I had it chopped to my chin. Everyone said that it looked much healthier and I agree, I just missed the length. It took me only three years for it to get back to my waist.

Well in the USA ... No it is not sold, It is swept up and put into the garbage and then into a dumpster at the end of the day. I am not sure about other countries though.
Some Salons will have events for Lock for loves in which women and children and even some men with LONG hair come in to have their hair cut and donated to them for cancer patients to get wigs of real hair. The hair donated has to be I believe at least 12 inches long.
But NO, salons do not sell your hair!

im a stylist, and sometimes in spring and summer i have clients who want the hair from the day to take home to their gardens, because it keeps the rabbits out! it seems they don't like the smell of humans, and therefore stay away! otherwise i just throw it in the trash.
