Benefits of making having snake as pets

i think they keep snakes just they can say they own a snake.my neice has a 8 foot boa.in her house.that she keeps in a cage.its scary.i wont go in her house.but she has a son that is in a wheelchair an unable to walk.i worry about him all the time.im afraid the boa will get out an wrab around the little boy.so there is no benifits from owning a snake they cost alot to feed.$3.00 for one mouse.yuk!

i not really affair of snake... but i not really like snake.. but my house mate own lots of snake in his room.. IT really seem very weird for me. but depend what kind of snake they own.. some got some don;t risky..

I don't see any benefits having snake as pets. I guess people who did that just love reptile, and they love snake. I don't want to have snake as pet, that's just too scary. Plus, we don't know how it going to behave towards us.
