A man/woman sneezes in a public place...there are many people there...do you say "bless you"? How many people do you think would say it? Would it embarrass you to say it, when there are many other people around? Do you think it is good manners to say "bless you" when someone sneezes?

well i think its kinda rude not to say it after all we have all learned through the years that it is only proper manners to say bless you. I would say it regardless of the amount of people that are around

Yes I do say it, but I put God before the bless you. I always get a thank you in return. I have sneezed and people have said bless you to me. It would never embarrass me to say "God Bless You", its a wonderful thing to say to someone.

I think it's good manners and not the least bit embarrassing to say "bless you". I think a lot of people say it. It would be bad manners to not say it. I've heard that you're supposed to say it as loud as the sneeze, too! I'm not sure, though, if you really should do that! Some people sneeze pretty loud.

If someone sneezes and i am really close to them, then yes i do say 'bless you' i don't care how many people are around. i feel that it's rude if you don't say it. so i say it anyways.

Yes I would say bless you. There have been times where people have been in other rooms, sneezed and I yelled bless you. I always feel awkward when I sneeze and no one says it to me. Then if I say it, the person should respond with thank you. If they do not, then again I feel awkward, maybe that just the way I was raised, to say bless you and thank you.

I always say "bless you" whenever anybody around me sneezes. That is the way that I was raised. There really aren't alot of people that use their manners now days. I really don't know if it's that they are being lazy, or if they were never taught. I think that it shows a lot respect.
