what is a defination of being Perfectionist

It's a good practice to always aim for perfection. We should always seek to harness our maximum potential in everything we do. Nobody's perfect..., that's a fact. But everybody can be near perfect.

I think I could call myself a perfectionist, if I set my mind to something I try my darndest to do the best job possible, and I don't settle for anything less, I just won't even start something unless I can do the best possible, no near enough for me...

my definition of a perfectionist, is someone who always wants to do everything the correct/perfect way. And becomes upset if it isn't done that way. I am a perfectionist. I get really upset with myself if I make a mistake or if I am not the best at something. I always try to do everything with a sense of pride. When I got my current job, I was in a group of 150 people taking a test. All I know is that I was in the top 10 that interviewed, and it kills me that I can't find out if I did the best on the written test.
